A Modern Explanation for Why People Offend.

Summary

For years the main stay reasoning for why individuals commit sex crimes referred to two pathways to sexual offending.  One being an antisocial pathway and one a deviant pathway.  The antisocial pathway would be for those who fit the DSM-V criteria for Antisocial Personality Disorder and the Deviant pathway would be for those who fit a DSM-V diagnosis such as Pedophilic Disorder, Exhibitionism, etc.  Though this model has been used for years, it does not necessarily fit well with newer cyber based sex crimes.
