In this summary, we look at a study that tries to define what is considered “normal” pornography use among young adults ages 18 to 26.

Summary

A hot topic for those of us in the profession is, “What is normal pornography use?” 

We use terms like pornography addiction or problematic sexual behavior and create definitions of what is problematic. There are also many claims made about the harms of young children being exposed to pornography at an early age. 

There is one pretty big problem with these assumptions: We don’t really have a standard for what “normal” porn usage is.
