What commonalities can be drawn between adults who solicit sex online from other adults and adults who solicit minors?

Summary

Cases involving online solicitation are becoming increasingly prevalent. Despite this, there is still not a large volume of research looking into this specific type of virtual sexual offender. Online solicitation can involve anything from sexual chatting with a minor, exchanging sexual images with a minor and arranging to meet a minor online for sexual purposes. Not all adults who are online chatting with minors proceed to the stage of arranging a meeting and following through with the meeting for sexual purposes.

Mitigation Aide is full of useful content for criminal defense, attorneys, public defenders, forensic mental health professionals, sentence mitigation experts, and researchers!
